One of the things that skews weird with Preem is he truly has an entire album with two rap derelicts that might be his best work top to bottom. He plays those tracks, no one reacts, despite how remarkable the flips are.
Imagine Jay over the Sacrifice beat off Group Home& #39;s debut. Imagine Ghost over Suspended in Time. Imagine ANY dope M.C. over Baby Pa. The Supa Star beat is a mindboggling flip. Preem made a cult classic with Malachi Da Nutcracker doing special education slam poetry over his beats
And that& #39;s not even mentioning Up Against the Wall - Getaway Car Mix, which still makes me freeze then sway and nod like a cult member. He gave Reks a beat that I still know is better than some of the ones he gave BIG.
Preem put Soliloquy of Chaos out before Black Moon came with Black Smif-n-Wessun. His run was insane.
Not to mention a track like Take it Personal, which remains a legitimate perfect rap song.
