seriously, though, the show is fuckin& #39; stupid in the narrative it showed. legit the only semi-decent one in the show but somehow methhead, racist joe exotic has the sympathy LUL. y& #39;all are crazy out here.
do some research, BCR is actually one of the most well known/well respected big cat sanctuary& #39;s in the US. her ex-husband was frequenting a place in Costa Rica KNOWN for people going missing, so ofc she& #39;s going to move stuff into her name. STAY WOKE.
Y& #39;all really don& #39;t understand. The "negatives" shown about BCR were all false. They aren& #39;t for profit, the one scene shown with people in the park is from ONE DAY a year where volunteers get to see the cats. The "small cage" was a feeding area a cat had wandered into, free to go+
her "cages" are 4000 sq feet, with plenty of freeroam space, whereas Joe Exotic& #39;s/Doc Antles were all super small with cats piled ontop of each other. She used to breed them, and has written about her shame about it and that& #39;s why she saves abused/breeding cats now.
It& #39;s really pathetic that Joe Exotic is some hero when the dude is a bigot and currently IN JAIL for his actions. but nah, "fuck carole baskin" for the memes eh?
