In honor of Passover I& #39;m going to start a thread about how I& #39;m the worst jew to ever walk the planet
a disclaimer: I& #39;m technically half-jewish my dad is a jew and I was raised to kinda follow it when 8 was younger but we all just kinda fell out of it I don& #39;t mean to be insensitive I& #39;m literally just stupid
we& #39;ve forgotten about Hanukkah the past 5 years (at least, could be more) like we literally missed it and didn& #39;t realize
I didn& #39;t know Passover was more than a day (I realized it was passover 4 hours ago and found out it was like a week long directly after)
I didn& #39;t know that oy vey was yiddish until this very moment (my Italian mom said it more than my dad growing up I thought it was just her being crazy but she was making fun of my dad the whole time LMAO)
One of my absolute worst moments was when I let myself go for a year thinking that the emails I get from the "Office of the Provost" from my college had to do with our Jewish Center bc I felt like Provost was a Jewish sounding word

The only memory I have of JCC was seeing my parents come to pick me up early and I& #39;m in the corner of the room while everyone else is learning and playing and I have a penny, chip, and a used napkin in front of me
