Why am I so unmoved by the clapping at 8pm? I don& #39;t mean this to be superior towards those who are, but I feel so cynical and jaded that it leaves me feeling empty, even annoyed.

(I love the NHS dearly, before anyone starts anything).

Would love to get other thoughts on this.

I genuinely don& #39;t mean any snark by this, I know lots of NHS workers feel touched by this. I just feel oddly depressed by it, and am wondering if anyone else feels the same.
