"All art must be a morality lesson" did y& #39;all forget that historically that& #39;s been used to police sexuality, workers rights, political dissidents, left wing politics, and marginalized people? I see this "discourse" pop up OVER and OVER again on twitter and it fukkin sucks
"But I& #39;M liberal so I& #39;M allowed to do the morality policing!!!" Wow we& #39;ve learned nothing
Have you ever noticed that violence in art almost NEVER gets this kind of moral policing? You draw a picture of someone getting stabbed and no one bats an eye.
Anyways I look forward to inevitably being morally policed about my moral policing tweet https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙃" title="Upside-down face" aria-label="Emoji: Upside-down face">
One last thing- I will ALWAYS support real people actually getting harmed and harassed over any theoretical/potential harm. Look how much harassment and psychological warfare we excuse over "people might see this and do Bad Thing." Bad Thing hasn& #39;t happened yet, the shaming has.
