Self-promotion and networking are real important for streamers, but you do not wanna be rude about it, so here& #39;s a few tips:
The best way to promote yourself is to let other streamers know that you stream too. Many streamers will shout out fellow streamers they see in chat. (1/4) https://twitter.com/IndieAlpaca/status/1248098164793659393">https://twitter.com/IndieAlpa...
Here& #39;s how to let someone know you stream without being rude about it:
*Raid them! People almost always check out the channels of people who raid them.
*Post when you go live in the APPROPRIATE channel of their Discord (usually an advertising channel) (2/4)
*Bring it up carefully in conversation ("I remember when I played this game, chat said..." "I& #39;m getting ready to go live so I& #39;m just lurking" "I can& #39;t seem to get my lighting as good as yours!" that kind of thing).

NEVER ask for a shoutout or a raid for yourself. (3/4)
Most importantly, be nice, engage with chat in other channels, and don& #39;t grasp for attention. We& #39;re all in this Twitch game together, we can all lift each other up without stepping on each others& #39; heads. (END)
