With 27 fatalities to date, the District has more deaths per 100,000 residents than surrounding counties. But it& #39;s still far below the rates in urban hotspots like New York City and New Orleans
The next few weeks and months are crucial: Will social distancing and hospital preparedness slow the pace of deaths, as in San Francisco? Or will we see an exponential rise like NYC?
