1/n Hi there! Am really excited to say I am leading a project around the future vision of the NHS Digital Academy. Here is a short thread which talks a bit about the work. If you would like to get involved/input your view then please contact me :)
2/n This work will be happening at a slower pace than planned given the current situation. It is also really important that while I’d love to hear from interested people now, there is absolutely no pressure to get involved right now if you do not feel you have capacity
3/n We will make sure there are more chances to get involved later on but we were likewise keen to commence some of the ground work. In addition I’ve had some feedback that some may welcome an hour or two to discuss something non covid yet I’m conscious to not bother people...
4/n It’s a sensitive & delicate situation right now and I’ll try to get it as right as I can. So today/tomorrow I’ll be putting out a few tweets and posts but will not be bombarding people. Likewise it’s not being done behind close doors. So.. a bit about the project itself...
5/n This is the project scope. It’s exciting & an opportunity to build on the current success. Part of the scope is understanding how to support different roles, different levels of seniority & different personal needs. My work won’t stop recommission of the current offer either.
6/n These are the four broad areas I am exploring. We know what a lot of the problems are in this areas but hope that doing a landscape review & gap analysis alongside interviews inspired by the appreciative enquiry technique will lead to ideas on moving this forwards
7/n It’s really important to acknowledge that there is lots of fantastic stuff happening at the moment in this area - and this is a great chance to understand how individuals can navigate, access & best utilise it all
8/n At the moment I am doing semi structured interviews. I also plan to do some further engagement (mechanisms will be dictated by the environment at the time!) to explore and test models a little later down the line. Timescales will be reviewed next month.
