New tree batch, step by step @Tinsi__m

Step 1.

Soak your seeds in water. At first, they& #39;ll float on the surface, as they take in water, they& #39;ll sink. This will be about 2 days.

You& #39;ll see them start to open as below https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇🏼" title="Down pointing backhand index (medium light skin tone)" aria-label="Emoji: Down pointing backhand index (medium light skin tone)">
Step 2.

On day 3, lay out a double layer of paper towel. You can use toilet paper if you don& #39;t have paper towel.

Wet it and spread your seeds on it, as in Frame 1. Fold your towel/TP over the seeds as Frame 2.
Step 3.

Place your folded paper towel in a bag/ airtight container. I use barrier/sandwich bags because I can see through them.

Leave enough space for the seeds to have air circulation in the bag as per pic.s
Step 4.

Place your bag in a warm, dark place. The back of a cupboard, wardrobe, oven (if not used often) etc.

The point is they must be allowed to germinate with little to no light and undisturbed.

Allow 48 hours to germinate, they& #39;ll most likely have sprouted roots.
If they haven& #39;t, return them to their spot and check on em every 24 hours. Also spray a little water into the bag to promote moisture.

They& #39;ll be ready to plant once they grow a singular VERY LONG root. Some may have also shed their husk and grow leaves already.
Step 5.

When you& #39;re ready to plant, mix potting soil and compost at a 50% ratio. It& #39;s about R30 for a 5kg bag. Make sure your soil is moist. Weed is a THIRSTY plant.

Place your seedling root down in the middle of your pot with just the head of it showing (like so https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇🏼" title="Down pointing backhand index (medium light skin tone)" aria-label="Emoji: Down pointing backhand index (medium light skin tone)">)
Now this is the very important part - DO NOT drown them. Yes, they love water, but too much will kill them. Play it by ear, watering ONCE a day in the evening should be sufficient to start with.

After a day or 2, they& #39;ll start to straighten. That means they& #39;ve taken to the soil.
After week 1, they should have 4 - 6 leaves (it grows VERY quickly).

Keep them out of direct sunlight when they& #39;re young.

Also, I water mine with a milk/water mixture once a week to prevent mold forming on the leaves.

That& #39;s as step by step as I can get you for now.
Notice, they& #39;re all in different pots, this is to tell males from females as they grow https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😉" title="Winking face" aria-label="Emoji: Winking face"> it& #39;s NB to separate them.

Hope this thread helps. Happy growing https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👌🏼" title="Ok hand (medium light skin tone)" aria-label="Emoji: Ok hand (medium light skin tone)">
