#SARSCoV2 is here to stay. I fear that people think they are & #39;doing their time& #39; in lockdown & when it lifts, will expect normal society to resume, and the problem of COVID to be solved. This is a hugely complex and long-term challenge cutting across health, economic & social.

On a more optimistic note, scientists & public health experts are rushing to find solutions- and a vaccine, antiviral therapy, or rapid diagnostic will all massively help efforts- as well as data-driven, precise public health interventions targeting those carrying the virus.
