i think opinion pieces in music journalism should be treated as such and not treated as factual articles that everyone must agree with unless its theneedledrop giving literally any album i like a score lower than 8

hm i have lots of thoughts on this. i think we have lost touch with how much weight opinions hold when it comes to art (myself included). we all agree that art should be consumed with an open mind so why do we go on witch hunts when ppl express an opinion that opposes yours?

it feels very “YOU HAVE TO AGREE WITH US OTHERWISE YOU’RE WRONG!!!!” like uh.. its art.. this isn’t a human rights debate or something. its literally just art. pls plsplssss can we all work towards dropping this bullshit cos it makes everything so exhausting
