So, I have been struggling with finding my teacher-voice during this whole remote learning experience. I don& #39;t want to give out busy-work that students don& #39;t get anything out of. My goal as a teacher is to change lives & while I do think that online learning can definitely work,

I just feel that the circumstances demand more. Don& #39;t get me wrong, I want them to learn the curriculum, but it just feels like we are missing the boat with trying to do too much. So, I& #39;ve decided that I need to approach this differently. Hence, I am going to have my students

journal everyday. I& #39;m sure I& #39;m not the only one doing this but I& #39;ve decided that I can get closer to my goal that way.
