This whole Karen mess feels borne of crossed wires.

Some were thinking of "Karen" as misogynistic (there is no commonly used male equivalent) rather than related to race.

Others pointed out that "Karen" originated with black women to talk about micro-aggressions of white women.

The result is that it seems like white women are angry at black women for using the term "Karen", which I& #39;m fairly sure wasn& #39;t the original intention (that would be ridiculous).
