the switch to everything being online has been completely overwhelming for me and a lot of other disabled people. I’m so glad you’re all getting to see your fave artists zoom parties from the sofa but please be aware some of us are now feeling as or more excluded than before
If you’re putting out callouts or invites- be clear and establish a structure. If you’re compiling online resources- access audit it first. as an individual- check in on people but be patient, and mindful of psychological and administrative backlogs.
just in the past week I’ve seen so many arts/culture events and opportunities that I’d love to have attended/submitter/participated in, but haven’t been able too
sometimes they slip through my organisational capacity my brain/experience is a sieve, with holes too big

but sometimes I am the sieve, and I’m trying to collect these things but they slip by me because they’re too confusing, slippery or fast.
both scenarios (me as the sieve and the events as the sieve) can be ameliorated by organiser accessibility efforts.

I would really like to write my thoughts about this up more clearly but I am too fatigued and anxious today to do much more. just felt compelled to at least vocalise my frustration/experience.
