"Why on earth are churches still meeting in this pandemic?" you might ask.

I can tell you at least one reason:

Conservative white Christians are looking for opportunities to be conveniently persecuted. The kind of persecution that requires no change to their life or routine.

"How can I be persecuted for what I& #39;m already doing?"

Living righteously even while being persecuted for it is praised in the Bible, and rightly so.

And that& #39;s why you& #39;ll often see very privileged people shouting "Persecution!" where none exists.
