Today we were lucky enough to encounter a Red Diamond Rattlesnake (Crotalus ruber) consuming his lunch (possible gopher) - he rattled his tail off at us, but first time I& #39;ve seen a rattler who couldn& #39;t back up his threat! Caspers Wilderness Park, Orange County, California.
