Various newspapers today report the government are effectively still pursuing, directly or indirectly, a strategy of herd immunity, before we have a vaccine. The government also say we should all listen to the experts. So what do the experts say about herd immunity?

Well, here is virologist Akiko Iwasaki from the Yale School of Medicine.

Here is Guido Vanham, head of virology at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium.

Here are three American experts when asked what they thought about herd immunity.

And it isn& #39;t just the foreign experts either. Here is the British Society for Immunology& #39;s opinion.

Oh, and here is a little group of experts known as the & #39;World Health Organisation& #39;.

So it seems that when we are asked to listen to the & #39;experts& #39; we are really meant to a very select few experts endorsed by the British government. And Dominic Cummings. (via @bylinesupport)

Get fed up of being told to & #39;listen to the experts& #39; when it is precisely because we are listening to the experts that we are questioning the UK& #39;s approach.
