If you don& #39;t *need* the $1200, please give it to someone who does. I saw someone say they were going to upgrade to a king sized bed and buy a guinea pig and my heart sank. People are losing jobs and homes. For some, this is about survival. Do the right thing.

ALSO. I& #39;m so tired of people talking about the economy& #39;s health as if it is just as important as the health of individuals. I get it, they& #39;re interconnected, but from where I& #39;m standing that viewpoint is insanely privileged. For so many, this economy never worked.

So, no, it does not make just as much sense to go buy those Nikes *for the economy* as it does to donate to the local food bank or to healthcare workers or to now homeless students or or or or....
