Tired of older relatives being shady on Facebook - a thread.
Why do so many people over the age of 40 think it& #39;s appropriate to comment on pictures of younger relatives with their judgements?
Do they realise how disheartening it is to open a post about your latest hair colour/tattoo/clothing and find out how your relatives don& #39;t like it, or prefer how it was before, or think you& #39;re ruining your hair/body?
Do they think we asked? Is posting a picture online tacit agreement for a relative to weigh in with their opinion? Who are they serving by trying to make you feel bad about time/money spent on changing something about how you look?
If you are a person who does this - stop it. I guarantee you the relative does not appreciate your input. Nobody cares if you don& #39;t like how they look. Your thoughts are neither wanted nor needed. Don& #39;t be a dick.
This thread brought to you by no less than three of my relatives deciding I needed to know they didn& #39;t like my blonde hair.
