Key point: there was existing antiquities law in place that forbade export of anything without permits. There were no permits to export the Broken Hill fossil materials.
I have seen many people wearing "return Broken Hill" shirts in Livingstone and Lusaka. People care about their heritage and are heartbroken that this skull was stolen.
