As clinical trials for #COVID19 ramp up the term "breakthrough" is likely to be used more and more frequently. Please read this thread to understand why that may be problematic.

The thread also mentions that the FDA has 22 programs they& #39;re likely to use to get #COVID19 therapies through the testing process. That...is a lot & I don& #39;t know how or whether representative populations are equitably considered across these mechanisms.
