Someone in a group yesterday said I couldn& #39;t be classed as a historian (in the link shared about my talk) as I have no "historical research credentials" - I don& #39;t have a PhD, I am a MA student, I make no secret of that.

I give talks because I *know* my subject inside out.

Someone I don& #39;t even know personally stuck up for me, saying Annapolis wouldn& #39;t have flown me out to give a lecture if they didn& #39;t think I knew my stuff.

Yet still sat here now feeling impostery, despite all of the wonderful opportunities to share naval history I& #39;ve been given.
