Y’all I am the most tired I have ever been in my life and I am honestly not doing so good. I have been taking non stop double shifts and have seen countless of my colleagues get sick and can’t work any more, just for the rest of us to pick up where they left off

The hospital every day feels like a war zone. I come home and just want to collapse and cry. I have known more peopl to die than I’ve ever known in my life. This is the kinda heart break I couldn’t imagine before

My home. Brooklyn. New York. I feel like we not ever gonna be the same after this. Please continue thinking of everybody in New York. We are for real trying to fight a war without enough equipment

I’m 99% sure I’ve been exposed to coronavirus because we didn’t have the proper PPE. So many of the people I work with have gotten sick and had to be taken out of work. If more of us get sick who tf know what gonna happen

Cant see my mom because she is at risk I feel like I’m a walking disease when I gotta walk home and I just want to go home and cry. This shit is for real and I don’t know how we’re about to beat it. Especially when they tell us to be prepared for the worst for the next two weeks

I can’t see any of the regular patients I work with because they have chronic illness and can’t be exposed. My job isn’t a job anymore it’s a war I can’t explain to y’all the feeling I get when I’m walking home to empty streets
