On Mar 31st at 12:28AM, Dubai Media Office announced the lockdown of Al Ras for two weeks.
This is all new for the police, healthcare providers, and the people living inside the quarantined area.. so alot of questions were not answered.
A police officer allowed me and the journalist inside at first but we were quickly called back. The other officer said if we went in, getting us out will not be an easy procedure.. because of the big covid outbreak in Al Ras.
These men were trapped inside Al Ras. They don’t reside there. After discussions with the officers, they were allowed out.
Never thought I& #39;d see Baniyas road like this. Heartbreaking.
