Car problems have me now stranded 650 miles from home until I can address this, somehow. I& #39;m safe and I& #39;m healthy and staying with friends, but the timing could not be worse.
I& #39;ve been on the verge of emotional meltdown all week, figuring out my best path forward. It feels like every big decision I ever make puts me in a worse situation than before and I& #39;m paralyzed with anxiety, just in general.
This has been a really rough week.

Slow progress while I was doing some research but it& #39;s coming along.
I have a couple days to clean up the block while I strategize how to get those nefarious cam bolts and find a machine shop to rebuild the heads.
I found the machine shop that rebuilds all the cylinder heads from the local dealership, so that& #39;s cool. My block is now shorter
Off they go for the machine elves to do their work
Finally a progress report. I have both the heads back, they cleaned up nicely.
Where I& #39;m leaving off for the day. I& #39;ve been working in the cold wind all day and I& #39;m toast.
Stuck some things on the thing, then gave a wolf a belly rub
Now the thing goes in the other thing
The thing runs now, and so concludes a silly few weeks..
