"hey, shoyo," kageyama whispered, his voice soft.

hinata looked up at him, hugging him tighter- cuddling is like a daily ritual for them. it feels nice, this is nice.

"hmm?"

the response was nearly immediate, "i love you," tobio grinned, cheeks turning a pale pink.

shoyo smiled wide and snuggled his face into his boyfriend& #39;s chest, "i love you more."

"well, i love you most," tobio pressed a kiss to the top of the other& #39;s head.

"i love you even more than that," he said quietly in response, "i love you sooo much."

they could go on like this forever. the sun began to set, a deep reddish-pink replacing the blue color of the sky, as the moon began to rise from its slumber. they went silent for a bit, the both of them drifting off to a peaceful sleep- to dream about the things they wish to do

tomorrow; until the silence was broken, "by the way," shoyo began, voice muffled since his face was still buried in tobio& #39;s chest.

"what are we gonna eat for breakfast tomorrow?"

tobio couldn& #39;t help but laugh- in high school, this would all be but a dream to him. yet here he

is, hinata shoyo himself, asking him what they& #39;re going to have to eat the next morning. he could swear he& #39;s sleeping right now, this warmth just a figment of his imagination.

"well, what do you want to eat?"

"eggs,"--shoyo lifted his head--"eggs and bacon."

tobio smiled into his boyfriend& #39;s bright orange hair. "that sounds good to me, then."

eggs and bacon. he& #39;s unable to recall if he& #39;s ever been this excited to eat food before- and eggs and bacon of all things to be excited about.

"okay. good night, tobio," shoyo yawned, closing

his eyes that& #39;ve grown tired and falling asleep.

kageyama gently ran his fingers through shoyo& #39;s hair, his eyelids starting to get heavy. the once pink sky soon turned to a dark, navy blue, the stars starting to glisten as the moon rose further.

and with that, he fell asleep.
