I think it& #39;s time for me to make a thread on my month holiday in Senegal and Ghana.
Structure:

- Ghana (pics)
- Ghana (video)
- How much and how I saved for this trip
- How it was travelling to a country I had never visited (GH)

Knowing how lazy I can be, it& #39;ll take a while before I complete all sections...but here we go. (And if anyone interacts with these tweets, feel free to ask me anything about this trip)
I flew from Milan to Dakar on Dec 13 and landed at midnight on Dec 14 at the Blaise Diagne airport. And because I am who I am, I watched "Black Panther" on the plane smh
I had been to Dakar in 2016, but didn& #39;t really get to see the city. It was Ramadan and hot and I couldn& #39;t be bothered. But this time I made the best of it.
My grandparents live minutes away from the Atlantic ocean. On my 1st day, I told my cousins to take me there
On the 2nd day, I went to the Museum of Black Civilisations. That also is like 20-ish minutes away on foot from where my family lives. This museum is everything.
The museum is opposite the National Theatre and if I remember correctly Waly Seck performed there the night before.
This time I didn& #39;t visit the House of Slaves but to know what happened on this beautiful island is so heartbreaking. So much beauty and pain in one place.
This time I went to Lake Retba during the dry season. The best period to see what algae, sun and wind do.
Again, this museum is everything
omw to crash someone& #39;s wedding

To Gorée
Café Touba
Retba
The biggest Mosque in West Africa
This is all from Senegal
Elmina reminded me of Dakar. That& #39;s why I loved it so much.
