Wow, okay. So Cats is a pretty weird movie. Not just from the cat human hybrids, but from some weird, off-putting elements like Ian McKellen and Judi Dench& #39;s performances. The whole cast EMOTES like cats - and do a really good job of it.

The CGI and cat-acting (cacting) are going to be the most "weird" parts. HOWEVER. If you can get past that, and appreciate how much they seriously lean into all this, it& #39;s kind of, dare I say, great. This movie was made unapologetically, and lets its freak flag fly.

Not to mention there are actually some good to great scenes. The musical numbers/scenes for Mr Mistoffelees, Bombalurina, Mungojerrie/Rumpleteazer, Bustopher Jones, Skimbleshanks, and Rum Tum Tugger were legitimately fun to watch and listen to.

All in all, I think this will be a cult kind of movie with some fans who will remember it fondly in 5 years - basically it& #39;s Speed Racer. If you like shit like that, go see it. Also, I wanna nuzzle Victoria.
