A true joy of neurdivergent adulthood:
Buying the exact same garment in more than one color.
Buying the exact same garment in more than one color.
As multiple people are asking:
Whether this related to ND depends on why one is doing it. If you buy multiple versions of the same thing because you genuinely don& #39;t care what you wear, it& #39;s not necessarily ND at work.

If, on the other hand, it& #39;s that one kind of garment is especially good (especially from a sensory standpoint), or that one is easily overwhelmed by choice, or that one really loves predictability, well, ND may well be a factor.
For me, and this particular pullover, it& #39;s both a sensory thing in multiple ways, but also it& #39;s a very practical garment for my needs.
You do you, regardless of the reason why!

Turns out I have another note:
When I use the word "joy" here, I do so with the context of other writing about it, including, fundamentally, this from @JustStimming https://juststimming.wordpress.com/2011/04/05/the-obsessive-joy-of-autism/">https://juststimming.wordpress.com/2011/04/0...

For me, this is not just about how this pullover is good, or about how I have created a life where a duplicate item won& #39;t invite ridicule.
Although those things are good!
Although those things are good!
For me, this is about a deep sense of satisfaction and joy. I am doing exactly the right thing for myself. I am inside this garment that is so good, and I love it so much, and I have TWO, and things like the thumbholes fill me with a deep contentedness.
