So earlier this week I saw a FB post from a buddy where a guy wanted to work Thurs/Fri for money to buy his kids something for Christmas. I& #39;ve been meaning to finish yard work for months now but between going to football games and work I haven& #39;t had the time. When I did...
I wanted to rest/sleep. I spoke with the guy on Tuesday. Told him I had work for him but that the only thing I required was for him to spend time with his family. I& #39;d pay him for 2 days. Guy shows up about 9a this morning. Stated working didn& #39;t look up after that....
It looks so good right now. I go to pay him and he says I& #39;ll be back to finish it Sunday. He was goin to come back & work 2 days bc that& #39;s what I paid him for. People like this are hard to find these days but that wasn& #39;t our agreement. It& #39;s have up not a hand out.
I& #39;m a perfectionist and when I tell you this guys work exceeds my standards by a long shot. I& #39;m glad to be able to help him but he doesn& #39;t realize how much he& #39;s helped me. Not only with the yard work but there are still hard working people in this world...
That do things the right way and don& #39;t ask for handouts. JR... You& #39;re a friend now. Thank you for being one of the most outstanding individuals I& #39;ve ever met.
Yes I paid him for Thanksgiving. It was a way for me to trade my paid vacation day in and him get paid for it. He needed it more than I did. #HelpOthersWhenYouCan
