#39;m a member of the lgbt+ and/or queer communities. but some ppl don&
#39;t want the latter applied to them. and that&
#39;s FINE.
i keep seeing this "if queer was a slur then so was gay" and like. yeah. depending on your individual trauma, it can totally be used as such. it&
#39;s unfortunately somewhat dependent on intent in cases of reclamation. why can&
#39;t we just. respect that?
