A number of things fascinating here.
1. The very first thing Graham brings up as evidence of Trumpâs success as president is the economy. Not pro life judges. Not religious liberty. The economy. Which is telling. https://twitter.com/jasonscampbell/status/1197651976596709377">https://twitter.com/jasonscam...

2. Trumpâs âtax cutsâ *hurt* charitable giving: https://fortune.com/2018/12/26/trump-tax-cuts-lower-charitable-giving/">https://fortune.com/2018/12/2...
3. Historically, wealth often does not lead to the growth of the church but a greater opportunity to make an idol of mammon. It doesnât have to be that way, but any wise Christian leader should be *cautioning* people when their country is prospering. Itâs dangerous.
4. Iâve heard a lot about how Christian Trump critics are just part of the evangelical elite who think they know better than everyone else etc etc. But the truth is, a lot (most?) evangelical leaders (the elite) are heavily sold on Trump. And this is a case in point.
âand the ones who *are* critical generally have been strongly pressured to keep quiet by donors, congregations, elders, etc.
5. I think a lot of Christians are grossly underestimating the damage being done right now. In some cases the damage is a deep loss of trust in elders. For others itâs an *embrace* of adversarial, pragmatic, amoral politics. Both are dangerous.
(among many, many other forms of damage caused by this administration)
