I feel like the whole Manchester United fan base just doesn& #39;t understand academy football, how it works and the reason for it.

Mini thread lemme see how much I can waffle for:

Firstly do people understand who/what Manchester United and Premier League football is? Dunno if I& #39;ve got my figures but it& #39;s the top 1% of the football profession in the entire world. To reach the first team of this is a truly incredible achievement that not everyone can/will do

Lemme use Roshuan Williams as an example, United fans were excited about him that& #39;s normal there& #39;s no reason to not be excited when an academy player is training with the first team and looking good at academy level......

I just know you all were shocked and feel like "he fell off" because he& #39;s gone to League 1 Shrewsbury Town. Lol just know thats honestly a very good achievement and he should be very happy. Players like De Ligt etc are the top 5% in their profession not everyone will that level.
