To understand Islam is to understand Muhammad is to understand him; we must take a look at what it was like at the time of his life; by all description, It was harsh. He also suffered the trauma of his caregiver& #39;s death, mother at 6 years of age, and then his grandfather at 8.
Muhammad was an orphan at 8 and based on the time and difficulty for adults to survive you can imagine the trauma created by the recent events for anyone much less a child.
