uh so au where jimin is a god who gets sent to earth to live amongst the mortals to evaluate them bc the his brothers are tired of watching over them and want to be convinced that they& #39;re worthy to continue existing. during his time on earth he meets a human, taehyung, and
despite his time being limited, and against his better judgement, he falls in love. two years pass; he and taehyung share an apartment and own a puppy named tannie. jimin works at a nearby flower shop while taehyung is a freelance artist who works from home.
time, his mission, everything got away from him. he was too distracted, too focused on his new life, too in love to notice that he was being watched. jungkook, a demigod sent to report back to the gods, gives his last report and they make their final decision.
in the night, jimin is called on by the gods and he goes, ofcourse, leaving taehyung alone in their shared bed.
"please," he begs his brothers, on his knees, forehead pressed to the backs of his hands that lay before him. "i beg you, dont do this."

but the thing is, taehyung isnt asleep. he& #39;d woken up mere minutes after jimin disappeared, confused and worried. he tries calling jimins cell but no one picks up and with a funny feeling in his chest he grabs yeontan and steps outside. the energyâ everything, its off.
and suddenly, without his control, he starts crying, images-memories- flooding his mind.
"jimin?" He yells into the night but jimin doesnt answer. No one does.
It& #39;s quiet, too quiet. Theres no whirring sound of cicadas or cars. Its wrong.

he stands there for what seems like hours, unmoving. Yeontan in his arms, shivering in what Taehyung can only guess is fear. From what, he doesnt know but the rumbling beneath his feet tells him it& #39;s nothing good.
