Let& #39;s be real for a second:

Everyone is wrong pretty often, tbh; myself very much included.

Is this thread petty? - Absolutely it is.

Is it entertaining? - It was to me. And that& #39;s why I did it. I& #39;m glad so many have told me they enjoyed it as well.

My reason for it:

Mahomes was the best QB prospect I& #39;d ever seen (and probably ever will see). When the #Chiefs drafted him, I nearly lost my mind with excitement. His talent was so other-worldly and obvious that it astonished me that not everyone could see it.

I was made fun of for nearly 2 years in group chats with friends about how much I loved Mahomes. I couldn& #39;t wait for him to show everyone what was so clear to me.

I was so confident he& #39;d make naysayers look silly someday, that I started screenshotting any negativity towards him once he became a member of #ChiefsKingdom.

For those wondering how long this took - not that long really. Honestly, how long does it really take to screenshot something and save it to an album called #MahomesSlander? I& #39;ve been gradually working on it for nearly 2 years.

Anyway, my plan is to keep adding to this thread over the next two decades as Mahomes continues shattering NFL records.

If you find cold Mahomes takes that I may have missed, please feel free to share them here, as many of you have already done (thank you).

One last thing:

I really am wrong a lot too. I& #39;m not just trying to throw stones while living in a glass house.

Just admit mistakes and move on.

I don& #39;t mean any of this to be malicious in any way...

For those asking:

Here& #39;s my earliest documentation of professing my love for Mahomes. The subject line reads "House" because I was going to be helping a friend move the night of the draft. I told him I& #39;d only help if he& #39;d have the Draft on and we move the TV last.

Then, naturally, I had to remind my friends of this email over a year later after Mahomes had already thrown 10 TDs in his first two games of the season.
