I& #39;m voting Yes on Prop 8 this November for my grandmother who died in a negligent dialysis center in this state only a year ago.
I believe funds should be allocated to improving the quality of care for dialysis patients because this care is so vitally critical for those living with kidney problems.
I decided to tweet about this issue because Californians may be seeing more no on 8 commercials, this is because dialysis companiesâlike big pharmaâover charge people who need these services to stay alive, and have the funds to air more ads.
They must be held to a higher standard

Thanks to over 2.5 million Californians who voted for the needs of patients over the greed of big corporations. Prop 8 didn& #39;t pass, but we should continue to listen to dialysis patients in the future & talk about the specific challenges they face in our current healthcare system.
Eventually these people must be held accountable and higher standards of care must be established. The way some of these facilities are run, as we speak, is dangerous for those with serious kidney problems. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-08-24/dialysis-industry-lobbying-to-avoid-oversight-in-california">https://www.latimes.com/californi...
