[Thread] Statement from the Tatmadaw Commander in Chief. My cynical translation:

1. We demanded 3 things. She rejected all of them, which offends us greatly.
2. We will re-establish the UEC under our control (that one annoying loophole in 08 Constitution that we forgot).
3. We will crackdown on all protests or crowds, citing COVID-19 as justification.
4. We will keep the upper classes and the cronies happy with generous "COVID" bail-outs (using the public budget, which we now control again).
5. We will go back to handling ethnic conflicts the old way - more troops are heading to Karen State as we speak.
6. We will have another election on our own terms, when we are quite about ready, thank you very much.
