At midnight, it'll be my 28th birthday (+ with MLK day)! I won't be accepting gifts, but the very best way to wish me a happy birthday is to take any one or more of the actions in this thread to lend your support to #Tigray which needs critical assistance and int'l intervention

9. For the love of God, please don't waste precious time trying to argue sides in a war, especially not with Tegaru. It's futile, distracting, and terrorizing for folks with family in the region. We've also already been through the scenarios hundreds of times by now. It's v bad!

9 (cont.) Attention should be placed on the people affected!! As people living outside of Tigray, our full force and weight should go to applying pressure for de-escalation and delivering aid/care.

Last, but not least please share this message widely. 2020 was a rough year and the timing for this crisis couldn't be worse, esp w/ the many other US/global crises at hand just days before Biden takes office, but #TigrayCantWait. Pls help us get this on @Transition46 's radar
