Serious news for London - it's just declared a 'Major Incident' over fears the hospitals could be overwhelmed with Covid patients.

The number of Covid-19 cases in London has now exceeded 1,000 per 100,000. 
There's 35% more patients with Covid in hospital now (7,034) than at the peak in April. 
More than 800 Covid admissions to hospitals every day, and they're worried that could rise.
The financial support the Mayor has asked the PM for is for Londoners who need to self-isolate and are not able to work. He's also asking for access to daily vaccination data
