Communicate with loved ones ... this year will be different, let's set up a time to call instead of meeting ...
Plan your day, particularly important if you are on your own, buy M/S ready made meals or do a full on cooking session, whatever brings you joy
include fresh air and movement in your day. Walks help us deal with stress and process emotions
allow yourself to be sad and reflective but set a limit on it if you can
limit alcohol if possible, or go for a full blow out if it feels valid, but take care of you
buy yourself a present, one you have always wanted, to enjoy on the day
feel free to ignore the whole thing, spend the day in a day-glo bikini having your own living room rave if you like
cherish hope, we will get through this, you will spend time with family again
