dairy products are intrinsically linked to our most common & most severe diseases

a fully-sourced thread:
unfortunately, due to how much influence the dairy industry has in our legislation, a lot of people think it’s completely normal & healthy to consume the breastmilk of another species. this is not at all the case, and it is killing us.
this is a 4 minute video that is integral to understanding how much influence big dairy has in our government:
a cow’s breastmilk is designed to make a calf gain hundreds of pounds in a short period of time - that is why it is essentially just saturated fat. this is why dairy products have a critical role in the obesity crisis; when humans drink bovine growth fluid, they grow as well.
dairy products also have mammalian estrogen in them- estrogen that is actually compatible with the human body. this is not comparable to the phytoestrogens found in things like soy & beer - plant estrogen does not affect our body the way animal estrogen does.
whereas soy was found to reduce the risk of breast & ovarian cancer, dairy products were found to increase the risk of these cancers exponentially. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2683002/pdf/ajcn8961920.pdf
IGF-1 is probably the reason why children who consume a lot of dairy experience early puberty and have growth spurts earlier on in life. this is actually very dangerous. the earlier a child first starts to menstruate, the greater the risk they have of developing breast cancer.
yes, it is correlational that early menstruation sees an increased risk of reproductive cancers, but dairy has such an association with both early menarche (first period) & cancer, that it would be irresponsible to ignore the role of someone’s diet. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3038976/pdf/pone.0014685.pdf
daily milk consumption in adolescence was found to increase the risk of prostate cancer by 302%: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3249408/pdf/kwr289.pdf
animal protein in general is strongly associated with insulin resistance. 1 in 10 americans have diabetes, and 1 in 3 americans are pre-diabetic. this is a serious issue. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5998345/pdf/cdn000299.pdf
the final thing i want to talk about is the links between dairy & acne. while acne is not a deadly disease, it is still a major problem for many people and i wanted to help those who struggle with it.
just to give an anecdote, i used to have really terrible hormonal acne. the only thing that made it go away was halting my consumption of meat & dairy. it was almost like magic, how quickly my skin cleared up upon me going vegan.
but i promise that it is doable. the longer you go without dairy, the easier it will become. not only is your health more important, but cows do not deserve to be repeatedly tortured & killed just so we can steal their milk.
please watch this video to learn about the monstrosity that is the dairy industry. it is only 5 minutes long.
