On expanding your theology, you'd be best served engaging w/ scholarly material *primarily* as opposed to threads. Ironically, here's a thread of @UCCF articles 😂which competently address commonly debated issues. They will facilitate critical probing, whether you agree or not.
1) Historical understandings of Christology.

Fairly comprehensive but a lot of big words and people you maye have to Google after

(This is crucial and is a hill many Christians will die on since if you get Jesus wrong, who exactly is saving you?)
2) Union with Christ

I feel this doctrine should have way more sound teaching on it because for the the Puritans and Reformers it was the foundation of their assurance in the Gospel.

Very helpful read
3) Sanctification and Justification

This one really helped me re-evaluate what is meant by sanctification and how although it is distinct from justification, there is a closeness between them that we should not excavate.

Super thought provoking

4) Universalism

A lot of people don't know the history of this debate and immediately dismiss the doctrine. I find it to be unbiblical too, but it helps to know why and how it gained initial prominence and why, in some quarters there, is a resurgence.

5) Penal Substitution

One of the most hotly debated theories throughout church history and I guess it's because it plays such a foundational role in how we think about God and His nature.
This was a really good survey of PSA from the late J.I Packer

6) Doctrine of Scripture

How is Scripture the Word of God and how is Jesus the Word of God at the same time?
https://www.uccfleadershipnetwork.org/resource/introduction-to-the-bible

Is Scripture still sufficient for how we know God and His will?

Again big questions and well broken down here
This is the end of the thread but I hope you've found it useful and if you'd like to chat about any of them or engage with me on them, feel free to DM! Happy reading đŸ“–đŸ„ž
